My Story

I never thought I had any issues with sleep, but as time passed by, I knew something was not right. Waking up every morning was a drag; I would never hear my alarm clocks, and I would always feel so exhausted throughout the day. Despite my efforts in fighting the feeling, I would always fall asleep during my commutes. How embarrassing is it to wake up with your head on a stranger’s shoulder or to find out that you’ve missed your stop? I decided I wanted change.

Hi, I’m Dr. Sandy. Growing up, I’ve always been intrigued by the connection between nature and medicine. As my family had been advocates of Traditional Chinese Medicine for generations, the curiosity of learning and the desire to help people was naturally passed down to me. After graduating from McMaster University, I went on to achieve my Doctor of Naturopathy at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

I am now on a journey to help people reset, and feel their best. I want to share what I’ve learned and help people feel like they are in control of their lives. My plan incorporates a collaborative approach with my patients through educating them on practical lifestyle and dietary changes, and supporting them with acupuncture, and botanical medicine.

When I’m not practising, you can find me reading a book, playing volleyball, or caring for my plants.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I look forward to getting to know you!

Sandy
